All Pirate Stories are not Legend: 7-The Lake of Bones

Lake Ronkonkoma is famous for the legends and mysterious that echo around it´s shores. One of the stories claims that the lake was once connected to the ocean to allow pirates to enter the area to bury their hard fought for treasures. Another story states that the lake was the pirates favourite place to execute their prisoners and that the lake contains all their bones. Some bones have been found, backing up this story, and has led historians to believe that the lake may be the hiding place of hidden treasure.
